This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Quiver in fear at my newest deviation, MORTAL. That's right... It's the one... The only... The Diglett Kid! Read the description for full effect. I mustered much of my writing talent and vocabulary ON THE SPOT to appease the greatness of The Diglett Kid. I only hope it is enough.

I built a little empire out of some crazy garbage called "The blood of the exploited working class".
Well it HAS been a while since I was on here. Have you yet had the pleasure of perusing my new AVATAR!? It's MOTHER 3 me. Also, a trippy background... heehee... COLORS... But I digress. I wanted to give you a friendly "happy new year!", but it's been a while since that fraze was commonplace already. I almost NEVER finish anything, which really makes me sad. Some things I really want to see the final product of, but there's just so much to do. I guess I feel overwhelmed and helpless... I wish I was a bit more reliable. This is probably why I rarely finish things. On that note, I am working on TWO VX RPGs. I'm not too sure which one to stick with, though. In the first one, I find myself in a strange new world with no memory. It is appartently Earth. Three months ago a great tower rose up and from it came monsters. My family was killed by this horde, and I am the only one who can find the ultimate spell in "Nightmare Tower" called "Undo" to make the Earth as it was before... but if one is killed in Nightmare Tower, not even the Undo spell can bring them back. The second game stars a lonesome, mean boy named Charles. One day a great storm ran through his hometown, and his sister was killed. The town was devestated and the citizens are too cowardly to take initiative. Guided by images of his late sister, Charles sets out to protect the town they both used to call "home". They are both quirky and sad, I tried to make the MOTHER 3-ish. Which, if any, sounds most interesting to you?

Hmm, well to me the first one sounds pretty interesting, and the second one seems a little bit like it was... "inspired" by Mother 3. I'd say that you should combine the two and remove the less satisfactory elements from each.
I came to the realization that the game would be more fun as a platformer. You can play as the party members still, but this way I can add even more characters into the mix. I'd still keep the story the same, but it'd be like playing through Metal Slug with a Magical Megaman instead. idk, I haven't ironed out the details quite yet.
Also, I don't know whether you had the chance to hear of it before it's death, but I revived CMD. This time I used free hosting, but it's not so bad considering the relatively low traffic it had in the first place.
You should join up, it'd be fun to see you in the chatroom (instructions how to get there are on the forum, if you join.): [link]

A great sage once said, "I can't wait to bomb some Dodongos!"
Heheh... now that you mention it, it DOES sound a bit like MOTHER 3. It was actually inspired by the conditions post-hurricane Katrina in Louisiana if you can believe that. It was supposed to be kind of realistic. Nobody's "saving the world". The characters are simply trying to survive in this unfamiliar new old place. Still, maybe I've been playing too much MOTHER... and I had that in the back of my head. Wittingly or unwittingly, you've just helped me through a gigantic writers block. In the first game, I didn't know where the characters would go next. Now I've unknowingly already made maps for their next destination. I think the plot for the second game actually works very well as a subplot. Thank you very much, sir. And if you don't mind helping me with my problems, could you help me with something else? You seem much more experienced with RPG maker than myself. I'm worried my story is too linear. I don't just POINT someone in the right direction, I KICK them there. They don't have any choice... hell, there's not even any BACKTRACKING. There's nothing to even BACKTRACK. I know that's how the beginning of an RPG normally is, but it's a bit TOO linear even by those standards. Suggestions?

I feel like I should be saying something more...
So, um... I hear you're making a game.
How's that coming along?

You rock. I suck. Enough said.
Look only once; just a fan...
Fine, I guess I won't tell you the /other/ thing that sticks out in your account.

We're both Mother fans, and I'm sure that we can admit that Mother 3 is one of the most linear games we've played. Still great though.
